Ever since Brian Dobson founded Metroflex Gym in 1988, we have been rooted in the Bodybuilding culture. Metroflex has produced IFBB Pros in Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure, Bikini and all of the NPC categories… most recently Women’s Physique and Men’s Classic Physique.

Amongst the people deeply involved with Metroflex Gym Oceanside include

  • IFBB Pro Sabrina Taylor:

  • 4x IFBB Pro Champion, 3x Olympia Qualifier, Olympia FINALIST 2014 and Arnold Classic Finalist 2015.

  • Gavin Louis Uridel:

  • NPC Bodybuilder and CEO/Co-founder of Metroflex Gym Oceanside. Has overall win in NPC. Gavin and Sabrina run Realz Fitness as a competition team out of Metroflex Gym.

  • JOSH BARNETT

  • Owner/Founder of Metroflex Phoenix and Co-Owner/C0-Founder of Metroflex Gym Oceanside. Josh is the trusted leader of Barnett Boys and has produced multiple IFBB Pros out of his gym in Phoenix. He looks to continue this line of excellence in Oceanside.

  • Wendy Fortino:

  • IFBB Figure Posing Expert and Olympia Level Figure Competitor. Not only is Wendy one of the most knowledgeable women when it comes to posing – but she is also one of the nicest and down to Earth women you will meet. While she isn’t officially involved with Metroflex Gym – we are proud she comes into our facility.
